Cross Country 2009 By Nirmal Preet (4 Luhur)

This year, our cross country run was held just two weeks after school reopened. 16 January was the exact date. About 1500 students participated in the run. in the morning, students were asked to gather at the school`s assembly ground.Then they were divided into 3 different categories, Class 1 were students from form 4 and 5, whereas VClass 2 represented students from form 2 and form 3 and class 1 consisted of students from form 1 and remove classes.

For the male students, the distance of the run was 5km whereas for the females, it was around 3.5km. This run started at 9.00a.m. and it ended close to 11.00a.m. Some societies such as the Scouts , Red Crescent Society and the Police Cadets helped the teachers on duty at their respective stations to ensure a smooth flow of traffic and also assist students that were injured or fainted during this run. It was indeed a memorable day for everyone who particapated.
